ANOTHER PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY - VIDEO

Buddy Jewell has called and invited the B52s to perform in his new upcoming video. I need to know asap who can attend the rehearsal and the shoot. Rehearsal will be on Tuesday, September 20 at 8:30 pm - until (?)(not too late) at the studio and on Wednesday, September 21 during your normal rehearsal time 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. You guys can get together on Thursday, September 22 to rehearse at the studio but I have to head to Maci's wedding on that evening so I won't be back until we meet for the video shoot on Sunday, September 25. More details about the shoot to come(All I know is that it is at a church). This is a wonderful opportunity and I hope many of you will want to take advantage of this. Email me asap because they need to find other people to fill in if we cannot do this. Thanks!

Big Sister / Big Brother Celebration

Let's shoot for Wednesday, September 21 at 5:30 pm until 6:00 pm at the studio to draw for Little Sister/Brothers. Legacy will provide munchies! We are so excited to start the new competition year! Hope everyone can attend.

United Way 50th Anniversary Celebration - CANCELLED

A friend that works with the United Way of Williamson County has invited the B52s to perform at Cool Springs Mall at 6:45 pm on Tuesday, September 20 for the United Way 50th year celebration. Please email us if you can come to rehearsal on Thursday, September 15(this Thursday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm) to learn a dance. And be able to attend the performance on Tuesday, September 20 at 6:45 pm. I will not be able to be there with you due to my class schedules on Tuesday. TheLegacyDance@gmail.com

WCDE Room Reservations

We have received several emails of dancers interested in attending the WCDE Convention in February. Please go ahead and reserve your rooms by calling 1-888-421-1442. There are still rooms available under the West Coast Dance Explosion block. They do sell out so if you are serious about going, I would suggest you call to reserve your rooms as soon as possible.

WEST COAST DANCE EXPLOSION

We are planning on attending West Coast Dance Explosion February 18 - February 19. THIS IS NOT MANDATORY. This is a wonderful workshop and great experience for the serious dancer. The cost is $200 per student. The workshop and competition is held at the Hyatt Regency Greenville, SC. It's convenient to stay at this hotel. The rates are $123 per night. We would need to leave on Friday after school/work and the workshop begins early Saturday morning. There is a competition. We will would love to take groups, duo/trios or solos that are all planning on going to the competition. The competition is on Saturday night. The workshop continues on Sunday morning and then there are auditions for Miss West Coast and scholarships awarded. All ages are welcome. Please email us immediately if you are interested in attending the workshop. We have to send in the money and make our reservataions ASAP. The workshop fills up very quickly. Thanks!
